Skateboarding is a recreation that has grown tremendously in popularity among kids and adults alike over the last few decades. This trend is reflected in Vail, where two fantastic skate parks (on the top of the Lionshead Parking Structure and in the Freedom Park in Edwards) provide safe, established venues for the sport. Instruction is often available, but often the venues are good places for burgeoning skaters to hone their craft. No reservations are necessary, but check with the venue for times of operation.
